UPDATE August 2025: My husband and I with friends went to the Tipsy Tuna for our annual visit. The menu changed some and the fried lobster roll is no longer on the menu. :-( What we had was still good but we were disappointed. Service was marginal. It was still a good time but we may need to venture out and visit some of the other restaurants in the area. My husband I hadn’t been to Nantasket Beach since we were kids. We ventured there a few weeks ago for the first time and, again a few days ago. Both times we went to the Tipsy Tuna for a lunch. Great food (!), great atmosphere, wonderful service (Thank you “Jimmy-again”). Loved the music and the vibe. The main chef came out to say hello both times - what a nice touch. Try the fried lobstah roll —— man, is it good! See you again soon!

Nice little place to have some delicious food after chilling on the beach. Shrimp cocktails are huge!! Fries are hot and perfectly crispy. Will visit again.

Tipsy Tuna in Boston is a great spot with an amazing vibe! While the sushi is excellent, what really stood out for me were the *crispy calamari rings* and the *onion rings* perfectly golden, crunchy, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and ideal for sharing. And let’s talk about the cocktails absolutely incredible! Creative, well-balanced, and seriously some of the best I’ve had in Boston. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and the staff is friendly and professional. A great place for a fun evening with good food and top-notch drinks. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this place to eat. Great atmosphere great staff and absolutely great food. The lobster roll was out of this world....real chunks of lobster meat, lots of fries and coleslaw...yum yum yum. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You won't be disappointed. I definitely will be back again when I visit. Thank you Freddy, Jimmy, and all. Keep up the great work

Great location next to one of the better beaches around. We drove to Hull twice from Norwood. We ordered: Mussels- these were tied on the overdone side. But when you get it in, but it was OK. Fried pickles - can't go wrong with fried pickles, and these aren't too dilly Maine lobster roll (called with mayo)- not too shabby, good amount of lobster. Connecticut lobster roll (warm with butter)- I wish I had gotten this one, but my husband ordered this one. Much better than the Maine lobster roll. Fried Oreos - I mean, how can you go wrong? Kids, fish and chips- the fish was a huge portion. Very moist and flaky. Kids chicken strips - nothing to write home about. Piña colada - some of the better piña colada's I've ever had. Good flavor!

One of the best restaurants in Hull! Amazing service, great atmosphere, and fantastic food & drinks!! Highly recommend checking it out during the summer season!

Yo this place has the fattest whole clam bellies, I had them in my fisherman's platter and everything was seasoned well. You gotta go there before the summer ends sit outside and enjoy the strong drink plus the frozen ones. The location is the old Barefoot Bob's right across from the beach. If you are looking for the best clams, you have to give them a try. You can thank me later.

We were seated right away on a Sunday, the waitress we had was great! We split the 24” lobster roll between 5 people and it was a generous portion for everyone - lots of lobster chunks and fries to go along with it! Solid establishment - will be back next time!
